Homelessness and public safety rank as the top two concerns among Spokane voters, according to a new Greater Spokane Inc. survey. The survey also found that two-thirds of city voters believe City Hall already has enough money and should use it more effectively. The findings come as Spokane considers whether to pass another public safety tax. Mayor and City Council leaders are being asked to show how the previous tax made the city safer.
