North Spokane Toddler Storytime Set for Nov. 19
The program serves children ages 18-36 months and includes books, music and hands-on learning.

North Spokane’s Meeting Room will host Toddler Play & Learn Storytime on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM. The program is designed for children from 18 to 36 months old, with parents and caregivers taking part alongside them.
The morning begins with 20 minutes of picture-book reading, songs and fingerplays. A 30-minute activity session follows, using play to introduce early ideas in math, science and literacy. The program also supports social skills and STEAM learning—science, technology, engineering, art and math—that children will use as they prepare for kindergarten.
Storytime gives Spokane families a structured way to play and learn together, with activities adults can continue exploring at home. Families may also get a library card for their child. Library space is limited, and groups of 10 or more should call ahead. Spokane County Library District says events are intended to welcome people of all abilities; accommodation requests should be made at least five business days in advance by emailing comments@scld.org or calling 509.893.8200.
