Baby Storytime and Play Set for Moran Prairie
The October 28, 2026 program combines books, songs and play for babies ages 0–18 months.

The program opens with 20 minutes devoted to language through songs, picture books, rhymes and bouncing. Babies then get another 30 minutes to explore suitable toys and activities through play. Parents and caregivers participate alongside their children, making the session a shared time for learning and fun.
Activities introduce literacy, social development and STEAM concepts covering science, technology, engineering, art and math. These skills support children as they prepare for kindergarten, and families can keep exploring them at home. Families may also get a library card for their child.
Additional sessions are scheduled for November 4, November 18 and November 25, 2026. December dates are December 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2026. Every listed session falls on a Wednesday.
Spokane County Library District aims to welcome participants of every ability. Accommodation requests, including ASL or hearing assistance, should be submitted at least five business days beforehand.
